SmokeTip Electronic Cigarette uses a special 3.6V long life lithium battery, which is actually the top of the electronic cigarette. When your cartridge is running very low or is out of solution the atomizer (which heats the solution) will get very warm. When you first notice this, it may be time to change the cartridge. Also, excessive use will cause the filter to get warm - use caution.
