SmokeTip Electronic Cigarette works like traditional cigarette smoking – it delivers the enjoyment of smoking (the touch and taste) without the harmful 2000+ chemicals or problems caused by tobacco smoke. Results will vary depending on the intensity of a person's average inhalation. One SmokeTip Electronic Cigarette atomizer cartridge will last the equivalent of approximately 1.25 packs of cigarettes. Should you experience little or no vapor, ensure that your battery is fully charged and properly attached to the device.
SmokeTip Electronic Cigarette uses a special 3.6V long life lithium battery, which is actually the top of the electronic cigarette. Depending upon usage, each SmokeTip rechargeable battery will last 3 hours to 3 days. The life of the battery is greatly dependant on usage. The indicator light tip will blink 30 times for about 9 seconds when the battery is getting low on power. We encourage all users to keep an extra battery available during high usage times or no access to recharging.
SmokeTip Electronic Cigarette atomized cartridges contain water, nicotine (16mg, 12mg, 6mg & 0mg strengths), propylene glycol (a water-based ingredient found in many medicines & health care products), tobacco flavoring, and other ingredients for flavor. NONE of the ingredients in our cartridges have been found to be carcinogenic.
I've had some unusual complaints by patients who say "Oh, when I quit smoking suddenly I got emphysema, when I quit smoking I had this horrible cough, when I quit smoking I had a terrible sore throat, I had to go back to smoking Dr. Ferry". The reality is that cigarette smoking does have a wide range of affects. Some people who smoke menthol, for example, and quit smoking menthol, which anesthetizes the airways, are finally having their nerve endings come back to life and not be anesthetized, and so they feel a raw sore throat. Some people who are coughing when they quit smoking, thinking they are getting sick, are actually getting well. A cough is a good thing. It means that you are finally bringing up mucous and debris from your lungs. It is like spring-cleaning. Your lungs want to get well, and they haven't been able to get well before. The little lining hairs of the bronchial and large bronchus are now like elevators getting that stuff out of your lungs. They were paralyzed before when they were exposed to cigarettes and toxins. Not everything that changes when you quit smoking means that you are sick. It means that your body is adjusting to the changes of not being affected by cigarettes.
Since SmokeTip Electronic Cigarette has no flame, contains no tobacco, and emits no secondhand smoke, it is not a form of smoking that would be prohibited under laws prohibiting smoking in public. SmokeTip customers have used the product without issue or complaint in restaurants, traditional workplaces, and many other locations.
When your cartridge is running very low or is out of solution the atomizer (which heats the solution) will get very warm. When you first notice this, it may be time to change the cartridge. Also, excessive use will cause the filter to get warm - use caution.

As with any electrical device, this unit should be charged on a fire-resistant surface. A bad connection may increase the risk of overheating and make the unit very hot. For issues, please contact us immediately. Do not leave unattended for safety purposes. For battery or cartridge leaks - do not continue using - place in a plastic bag for replacement. As with any electronic device, prevent it from mixing with metal articles in your pocket, purse or other bags - this will damage the battery and cartridge. We do have carry cases to prevent this issue.
